Install QGIS and PCRaster
In
this workshop we'll use QGIS 3.34 Grenoble. Newer versions can also be used.
There are two ways to install QGIS:
- Standalone installer. This is the easiest way, but requires a good internet connection, because you need to download 1GB.
- OSGeo4W installer. With this installer, you'll install only what we need, so it needs to download less MBs. However, there are more steps to follow.
We'll use the PCRaster Tools plugin. This is a processing provider plugin. Therefore, you need to install PCRaster before installing the PCRaster Tools plugin. Close QGIS if you have it open and follow the instructions in the
plugin documentation to install PCRaster.
